Imperative Productions Ltd. was founded by Andy Hamer who remains Company Director and principle creative force of the company.
Supplying a scenographic and design service for primarily theatre and performance but has undertaken a number of projects from retail visual display, wedding and events.
Imperative Productions Ltd. could assist with any stage of your project, from assisting with the initial conceptualisation, and presentation of sketches and ideas through to developing these into realised objects, installations costumes or props.
The aesthetic and design philosophy to Imperative Productions Ltd. strives upon the manifesto on dramatic design by Andy Hamer: Reductionism.
The basis of Reductionism is to create clean uncluttered design, without being devoid of character, interest or human interaction. It is far from the brutality of Minimalism. In all occasions the design solution should assist ease of use by the end user/viewer to understand and support the environment to be represented or created and uplift, enrich their experience.

Gadael yr Ugeinfed Ganrif has developed out of Sherman Cymru’s New Artists’ Development initiative.
