New Beats is the latest work by Chisato Minamimura - a deaf Dance Artist born in Japan and now based in London.
The work looks at the structure of music and how it is felt and explored by a deaf performer.
What effects it has on the body, space in which it fills, and the physical response to this.
The lighting design response took on the content of conversations and observations within the company, creating a space in which the performers inhabit.
Emerging from darkens entering phased of Low Middle and High and returning to darkness. As the audience are invited to observe a moment of an ongoing state.
The sound-scape continues to support this engagement with layers of new and repeated live recordings.
